On behalf of all members of Rotary Club of Macau, I’d like to welcome you to our website.

Chartered in 1947, this year marks the 67th anniversary of Rotary Club of Macau and it’s a great honor to serve as President in 2014-2015. We currently have 41 members in our Rotary Club. We are part of Rotary International, a service club association that includes approximately 34,000 Rotary clubs, with 1.2 million members, in nearly 200 countries. Although we are the second oldest club in our district, Rotary Club of Macau is one of the most active and fun club in the district.

In this new Rotary year we are being asked to “Light Up Rotary”, this is something we are keen to fulfill.

Over the past decades, we are proud to positively impact the lives of children and adults. Locally, we have Christmas party for the mentally handicapped children, dental treatment for aged at elderly homes, youth exchange program for high school students, blood donation day.  Internationally, we have our signature project, building schools and giving grants for the underprivileged students in Du’an province, GuangXi, China. We lend a hand in building houses for the families affected by the typhoon Yolanda in the Philippines and so many more too numerous to mention.

Our club members represent the highest ethical standards in business and the community and come from a variety of classifications providing a strong fellowship of high quality individuals who choose to lead their lives by the Rotary motto of “Service Above Self”. This group has accomplished incredible things through community service work, fund raising, and support for local projects that help make Macau a better place to live and work. We enjoy fellowship that enriches our lives and professions at weekly meetings.

If you would like to know how we give “service above self”, then simply contact us. We meet at the Venetian Resort Hotel in Macau most Thursdays evening, but it pays to contact us first to be sure.

I invite you to visit the various sections of our site, and learn more about our club and its activities. I am also looking forward to my new Rotary year with a degree of excitement because I know what a fun loving and dynamic set of Rotarians I have with me in the Rotary Club of Macau.

In Rotary gratitude,

Kevin LEI
