Our Causes
Promoting Peace
Rotary fosters understanding across cultures. We train adults and young leaders to prevent and mediate conflict and help refugees who have fled dangerous areas.

Educating on the front lines
Sneaking into Boko Haram’s back yard to rescue girls wasn’t what a university president had planned on, but she, a Rotary Club and community leaders braved “dangerous territory” in Nigeria and started programs to feed and education refugees – whose number eventually swelled to 400,000.
Fighting Disease
We are resolved to rid the world of polio forever. We also educate and equip communities to stop other diseases and expand access to health care.

Pakistan’s rise to zero
At a busy toll plaza in Kohat, Pakistan, a three-member vaccination team is working fast. Outfitted in blue Rotary vests and flanked by armed military personnel, Rotary vaccinators wade through a sea of traffic to find any child who hasn’t received the polio vaccine. Pakistan and Rotary have turned what was 'a badge of shame' into a model for disease eradication.
Providing Clean Water
We help bring sustainable clean water, sanitation, and hygiene to more people every day. We don’t just build wells and walk away.
