Board members accompanied our President Teren Cheong to Hong Kong to meet our latest Honory Member Consul General Yuki Kumammaru.
We were delighted to be able to offer our contribution to the relief effort following their Tsunami last month.
The Consul General was grateful for our support and from the help his country has received from Hong Kong and Macau and the Social and Humanitarian organisations. He described and talked at length of the efforts which are currently ongoing and that the problems are now moving from the initial survival for the people affected to re establishment and rebuilding of lives and property.
Pres. Teren presented an activity report for the year and our cash donation for the relief effort.
