Some of us attended the 56th District Conference at ChimeLong last two days and had a good enjoyable time of fellowship , learnings, exchanges and entertainment. During the Foundation Lunch , our club was presented with the EREY/100% Sustaining Members Club banner and an appreciation certificate for End Polio giving for IPP Kevin’s year 2014-15. Congratulations and thank you so much for all your kind contribution of minimum USD100 during that year.
Last week club meeting invited our Rotaract Adviser Elvo to share with us what’s really ‘ Behind the door of the Therapy Room’. A big thank you to Elvo for enlightening us on the subject of if, when, how , what to look out for therapeutic treatment for one’s mental state of mind. We surely learned a few insights .
This Sunday, May 22 our Rotaract Club of Macau is going to host a ‘ O-Close Olympics’ event at St Paul’s School playground from 2.30 -5.00 pm where there will be parents/children Olympics games, bazaar and fundraising lucky draw. This is all for the good cause of raising awareness and funds to support ‘ This Close to End Polio’. Do bring your friends and families to spend a worthy Sunday afternoon to support our rotaractors. And also to visit our Adopt-A-School St Paul’s . If you are interested, I would be happy to show you our service project ‘Happy Garden’ up on the school’s rooftop on that afternoon too.
