Last Thursday Rtn. Li Ying gave us an inspiring talk of proposing to the government to ‘Build the Macau Forum for World Peace and Virtues’ in cultivating Macau’s soft power. We had visiting Rotarians: Pres. Queenie and Rtn. Cindy from Rotary Club of Taipei Diamond and Rtn. Guenther Klien from RC Dalian.
Meeting tomorrow, 24/11 at Fortune Inn, University of Macau
As Venetian is full again, venue tomorrow is changed to Fortune Inn, University of Macau. Please let me know if you will be able to attend. Need no. for arrangement. Thanks.
Grannies Tour 3/12, Saturday
Around 300 grannies will be picked up at 4 different locations in 7-8 coaches at 9.00 am. We will take them on a bus tour to the University of Macau, have Portuguese egg tart at Lord Stow, tour round Coloane village and bus tour round the new hotels on the Cotai then have Portuguese lunch at Pinocchio. Rotaractors will play games with the elderly and we will bring them gifts of a thermo cup, white flower oil, a piece of towel and thanks to Rtn. Lei Loi Tak, a box of biscuits.
We need our Rotarians to help take charge in each coach. Please let me know if you volunteer to help. Thanks.
