Last week we moved our Club’s Regular meeting to The Roosevelt Hotel Chinese Restaurant.

It is a nice venue allowing our Fellow Rotarians to enjoy fresh air in a balcony overlooking the Macau Jockey Club race track.

We moved to a different venue at the request of PP Fred who wished to celebrate his 81st birthday with fellow Rotarians.

Over 30 Rotarians, Alumni Rotarians, family and friends were in attendance. PP Fred has been a strong supporter of the Rotary Club of Macau.

During the Grant Foundation Seminar which took place on November 7, Foundation Committee Chair PDG Jones mentioned PP Fred has one of the new Level 1 Major Donors in District 3450.

During the Club’s Regular Meeting I also had the opportunity to pin PP Sam and Rotarian Aris with the PHF pin.

This week we meet in our usual venue, at The Conrad.

As you all know, our Club was unable to hold the Charity Annual Ball in the first half of the year.

Therefore, we are asking our members to make a one-off donation of MOP 3000 to finance the Club’s projects.

Most of our Rotarians have already paid this one-off donation, as well as the Club Dues.
