Meeting this Thursday, Mar 23 at St. Regis
As Venetian is full this Thursday, Mar 23, we will relocate our regular meeting to the Manor, 1/F, St. Regis Macao at the Cotai Central. Thanks for the arrangement of Rtn. Marc, this will be the first time we have tried this new meeting venue. Please let me know by return mail if you will be able to attend. BTW, you may park at the common car park of the Cotai Sands. I attached below the map for your reference. See you this Thursday.

Update of the last meeting
We had a friendly meeting last Thursday. Our long lost friend, Rtn. Varna, visited us the first time after she left Macao 18 years ago. She now spends most of her retired life between Spain and Portugal. We also had guests of Rtn. Li Ying, her schoolmate, is now a colleague with Rtn. Ignacio and Jennifer Wilkinson as my guests. I do hope Jennifer will succeed her father and become a Rotarian shortly.
Vietnam trip – May 19~22
Up till now, we have 11 persons signed up for the Vietnam trip. We will arrange a package of air tickets and hotel from here and IPP Liz will help arrange transportation in Hanoi. According to PP Kevin who visited Liz a few months ago, air ticket + accommodation is roughly $3,500/pax for room sharing. Please let me know ASAP if you would like to join us so that we can make the necessary arrangements. BTW, we need visas for entering Vietnam except for UK or APEC passport holders. Now there’s an online visa application with visa issuance upon arrival which is cheaper and more efficient, according to Liz.
70th Anniversary Ball – May 6
Please find attached an e-invite for our 70th Anniversary Charity Ball to be held on May 6 at the Venetian, Grand Ballroom. Please be reminded that each Rotarian is entitled to get 4 tickets at $800/pax, same as last year and $7000/table for a table of 10. You can make use of the attached e-invite to invite your friends now. There should be another version with the ticket price on, which will be sent out later.
