Happy Valentine’s Day, East and West ! Guess by the time you read this weekly update , you would have either pampered or being pampered by your beloved ones with flowers, hugs and kisses !
Last night club meeting had 14 Rotarians having a splendid time pre-celebrating Valentine’s Day and, most important, celebrating Keith’s birthday ( Lucky him born on Feb 13 so no one will forget his birthday). After the usual club announcements and dinner, there was a happy flow of cognac ( thanks to PP Ip) , port ( thanks to SAG Andy) and Godiva chocolate ( from me). And a surprise birthday cake presented to Keith ! ( Check out the birthday photos attached).
And we also have another Feb birthday Rtn Thomas on Feb 23. Happy Birthday Thomas from all your friends at Rotary !
Shaun also delighted us with a surprise Chinese New Year gift to each member of 2 complimentary tickets to a wonderful variety evening show featuring magic ‘ The Night of Macao’ at Sands Theatre, good for shows between Feb 25-May 11. For those not present last night and wish to go , please let me know as Shaun has kindly offered to arrange more such tickets.
Another happy group was the Venetian servicing staff who received lai sees from some Rotarians and a BIG one from our Club of $3000 ( $1410 from box collection, remaining from club fund) to thank them for their past year’s attentive service.
