I joined the Rotary family in 2020 by being admitted to the Rotary Club of Macau. 
As a Portuguese citizen and a Macau resident, becoming a member of the oldest and the English speaking club was the right decision to make. As a seasoned senior executive with many years of experience in the financial industry, the main reason to join Rotary was to be able to contribute to society and help saving lives. Through true friendship, I was able to integrate very quickly into the club’s projects either serving local communities or international/global communities.
 
The leadership role of Rotary in the fight against polio is an excellent example of the great things we can achieve when working together on a common vision.
