RCM met last night (3rd July) at the Ocean Garden Club House as an opportunity to try a smaller meeting. Members have expressed an interest in using a smaller meeting as many of us are way on business or vacation during the summer months. As it turned out we had barely enough room! With members crowding around the table and extra tables having to be brought in.
President Filipe presided in what must be be his last General meeting as the Rotary Year has come to an end.
We enjoyed a presentation from the Rotaract Club of Macau who wished to produce a Year Book in time for the Installation of the Clubs next week. Members were able to offer some financial assistance and we look forward to seeing the result soon.
We were joined by two guests from Thailand Rtn. Kamolthip from RC Hua Hin, District 3330., Thailand and her friend Ms Duangjai Kraus (Aw) are visiting Macau for a seminar on Real Estates. Rtn. Kamolthip joined Rotary 4 years ago, obtained 100% attendance to Rotary meetings. It was the first time that she made up in another Rotary Club. She was a keen golfer and she welcomes all of us to visit her in Hua Hin.
We hope that we can become a regular drop in for members from abroad.
