Presidents 13th Weekly Update

We had a very busy Saturday (Nov 4). Before 6 a.m. IPP Sam Ip, PE Elvo Sou and our Rotaract Patrick Mak had to be at Trail Hiker.

Special thanks to them and their fellow volunteers. They organize a group of volunteers to help. They were at the finish line to check if a team of 4 runners would arrive together.

I have to be at the same Trailhiker spot ( Venetian) before 9:00 a.m. at the opening to receive the check. Thanks to the organization, the Eco Trailhiker for making us, the Rotary Club of Macau, again the beneficiary of this charity event.

At the same time, at 9:00 a.m. begin a very successful community service serving 100 Grannies.

Myself, PP Stella Kan, Rtn Li Ying Rtn Yuko and Rotariaines Eugene and Amy joined hands to make this successful activity. They have a tour around the Macau University, the new Cotai Strip and a Portuguese lunch at Panda Restaurant in Taipa. After lunch, the Rotaractors play games with the elders. Each took back home a box of cookies, special thanks to our Rtn. Lei Loi Tak, and a kettle, a towel and white flower oil. We left the restaurant to go to Macau Tower where they have tea and a Portuguese tart, special thanks to Mr. Monteiro manager of Tromba Rija who sponsored this afternoon’s tea.
