Our regular meeting, Jan/18, had 21 rotarians, plus Rotaract IPP Mathew (my guest),4 Ip’s guest and Kula makes a total of 27 presences. We have chat chat and wine tasting from PP Ip at swimming pool side. Our meeting was a short one because today we have our 2nd Club Assembly. We have a very good fellowship .

Before end I pass a congratulations card to give to our Rtn Lei Loi Tak for his medal : Silver Lotus . On behalf of Rotary Club of Macau I would like to thank him for years of generous service to our club and to the community and to congratulate him for the recognition that the Macau Government has given him with the awarding of the Silver Lotus. The award is richly deserved. Again we would like to thank him for his past and continuing generous service to Rotary and to the Rotary Club of Macau. I pass the card collecting everyone signatures. Already sent to him and he thank all Fellow Rotarians for that.
After the box donation : MOP1,000 the regular meeting was adjourned.
And the 2nd Club Assembly started.

Because PP Filipe S. Fernandes our club assembly chair was enable to be present I proposed PP Florence Hui to take the chair, and was unanimous vote yes.

After call to order PP Synthia Chan was appointed as Club Assembly Secretary. Then was held with 21 members present and 19 proxies , total 40 with a qualified quorum for the Assembly. Later the assembly minutes will be sent out but I will share some points for your information :

1 – 2017-18 first half year club report of service projects progress presented by president and Committee chairs,
2 – 2017-18 first half year key financials report was presented by our Treasurer Ricardo Martins ,
3 – Election of President- Nominee Ip Pui Fai voted 39 in favour and 1 abstained. Please joined me to congratulate Ip Pui Fai being our 73rd President and Ball Chair for our 72nd Anniversary Ball.
