Dear Fellow Rotarians

 

For coming club meeting on July 18, 2013 , we will have AG Florence visiting our Club at start of the ” Engage Rotary Change Lives’ year. AG will be accompanied by DAG Nicole. So , please mark your diary, come support your club and meet AG.  

 

A brief update of this week’s club meeting.  Indeed, we have a wonderful fellowship  and farewell to PP David last evening with a great turnout of 30 !!! 21 members came plus 9 guests including the lovely ‘ better half ‘  of David, Guy, Freitas, Elvo and Sam Ip, visiting Rtn Shirai San , Rtn Anthony Sieow plus. guest Natasha. 

 

Thanks to Jane’s arrangement, North restaurant was an excellent décor place  with delicious northern spicy dishes. The ‘ weird pasta’ and ‘ hanging pork belly ‘ were gone from the plates in no time. Touching  speeches from President KC and PP David about their love for Rotary and their club especially after a few sips of Single Malt Whisky 1997 brought by PP David. Guy was ever so kind to surprise the  evening in challenging our contribution to the donation box in return for his ‘ one and only SPLIT ‘ act.  Well, we raised $1000 and he did it ! Those who could not join us ,check out our website for all the exciting and fun photos shortly.

 

Our club presented PP David with a memorable souvenir of Macau and Rotary. Bon voyage PP David and Helen, we will miss you and hope to see you back in Macau for holiday  and our club meetings before too long.

 

Please help me in marking down two more dates as your utmost presence would be important :-

 

1.  Joint Installation Ceremony night – Aug 8 , 2013 ( Thurs)

     Our regular meeting  change to joint installation of Rotary Club Macau,

     Rotaract Club Macau and Rotaract Club UMAC.

 

2.  DG Eugene  Visit –  Sep 6-7 , 2013
