At our Last meeting
We had an excellent attendance of 31 pax last meeting with PDG Euene Fong to speak to us on membership. We had 17 members and 13 visiting Rotarians from the newly chartered club in Macau, Rotary Club of Penha, led by their Charter President Kent Lao and Rotaractor Kula. The most senior member in Macau, PP Maneiras, while giving a vote of thanks on behalf of the Club, expressed that we do learn a lot from the speech and we learnt to be true Rotarians.
For our first meeting of 2017, we welcome back PP David and Helen from Brunei. I am sure they enjoyed the nice wine and fellowship we had. Pres. Sam took the opportunity, on behalf of IPP Liz, to present the beautiful souvenir, a pair of glasses imprinted with last year’s theme logo, to thank PP David for the wonderful job he did as a webmaster last year. We are so happy to you again PP David, do come more often!!!
Meeting Today
Rtn. Pedro just returned from his holidays in Portugal, during which, he visited 3 Rotary clubs there. He is going to tell us all the interesting things and his experience as a visiting Rotarian and what he gained from these visits.
Rotaractors will also report to us their visit to Guangxi last month.
