Last meeting

We had great fellowship last meeting at the Manor, St. Regis. Thanks for Rtn. Marc’s arrangement, the Board could have their board meeting at another room next door prior to the regular meeting which really helped the board to save time. The venue and food and service are nice. We may have another trial next month. PP ET and PP Gary returned after their long vacation. Congratulations PP ET from bring good news from his favourite club. He’s now the Honorary Member of RC Chiang Mai. PP Gary also brought us greetings from our dear friend in Sydney, PDG Barney. But we are sorry to find Rtn. Joao’s hand was in bandage. He has a car accident while he was in vacation in Portugal few weeks ago. I do wish him speedy recovery.

Vietnam visit May 19~22

We are planning to take Air Macau evening flight departing for Hanoi 20:50 on 19/5, Friday and returning on 22/5, Monday night arriving Macau 02:00 23/5. IPP Liz will help to arrange transportation and tour us round the city, introducing us the most scenic places and best food in Hanoi. For easy communication, we would stay at the same hotel as Liz, the Pan Pacific Hotel as recommended by her. I have the following members registered with me for this trip and if your name is not below and you want to come with us, please do let me know. .

Andy (2), Choi, Fatima, Florence, Li Ying, Sam, Pauline, Ricardo (2), Stella and Aris, totally 12 persons.

Peter is considering too……..You just have to take one day off and join us for great fellowship, nice wine, good food and good tour. Why don’t you also consider and let me know?

Meeting this evening as Capri Room 1101, Venetian

Rtn. Li Ying was featured in Jornal Tribuna de Macau on Mar 27 on the topic “Temos uma sociedade sem orgulho civico”. Hope she can tell us more in person tonight.
