Macau, Tuesday, 22 October: The eight Rotary clubs of Macau, part of Rotary International District 3450 Area 1, joined forces to organise the End Polio Charity Walk & Run on Sunday 20 October at the Hac Sa Reservoir Country Park in Coloane.

More than 300 people participated in the 8K run and 3K walk. Bazaar stalls were also set up at the venue, creating a very lively scene.

Proceeds from the event will go to the Rotary International Polio Eradication Fund to support polio eradication efforts worldwide.

To date, Rotarians have contributed more than US$2.1 billion and countless volunteer hours to immunize more than 3 billion children worldwide, reducing polio cases by 99.9%.
