Funds from the meal and contributions from members go towards the eradication of polio in Rotary International’s signature project, which, with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, will continue the ongoing vaccination program to eliminate this debilitating disease.

Tonight we had our annual Halloween-themed World’s Greatest Meal to Help End Polio Charity Dinner at Tromba Rija, Macao Tower. This is an Area One event where all eight Rotary clubs in Macao join to promote our End Polio campaign. AG William and all eight club representatives kicked off the evening with our resounding slogan — “We are this close to end Polio.”

Around 100 attendees dressed up in various costumes — we had a fly man, a rotten-tail building, a Batman, two skeletons, 5 twins from the Shining, a Dracula, and many, many creative characters. We had a wide age range and were extremely multilingual, speaking English, Chinese, Portuguese, Japanese, and Italian. It’s a truly amazing gathering. We are grateful each year we can enjoy this great venue to contribute to ending Polio while expressing our creativity.

Thank you all our lovely Rotaract and Interact participants, including the two awesome MCees @spinteractclub . Thank you all the guests tonight, including Rotarian families came from Hong Kong. Happy Halloween and let’s work to end Polio! #worldsgreatestmeal
