President KC Wong
It is a great honour that I have been elected as President of the Rotary Club of Macau. Not only that means I have the prestige of heading the oldest, most historic club in Macau, but what it means that I have been given the chance to SERVE.

With the help of my fellow Rotarians we have put together this booklet to mark the 65th Anniversary of our Club from its early beginnings in 1947 to today 2012.
“As you get older, you may find that ‘enabling-the-dreams-of-others’ thing is even more fun”Randy Pausch, author of The Last Lecture.

After over three decades of working in the business world, I think I did miss opportunities to grab and enjoy that ‘fun’.

With our club’s activities in locally in youth projects, dental service for the elderly, blood donation day, assistance to Concordia School of Special education, and international initiatives in providing support and fund to the disaster relief in China, Ethiopia, Columbia, Bangladesh, Haiti and Japan, I am sure together with my great incoming board 2012-13, we can altogether enjoy more ‘fun’, provide more services, and better enhance fellowship.

With two new Sister Clubs we will build on new ways to integrate International Friendship for the future years. In particular as this is the Rotary International Year of Peace Through Service.

So to all my fellow Rotarians in Rotary Club of Macau, a heartfelt thank you for giving me so much ‘fun’ and I will certainly together with my board do our best to SERVE above self.
